Intellectual Positive Actions for a Healthy Mind: Pre-K SEL Review

Yay! The pre-kindergartners are smarter now than they were when they started Positive Action Unit 2! It’s all thanks to their dedication to practicing all the intellectual positive actions that they have learned in the previous lessons!

This is a review lesson that helps the students remember all the intellectual positive actions that they have learned. The students’ very smart friend, Professor Socks, is so proud of them that he wants to recognize and celebrate their positive actions!

"The whole design of the Positive Action program is dedicated to fostering the intellectual development of its students. In every lesson, the students are challenged to imagine, assess, and think about the concepts that they are learning."

Through a visual aid, Professor Socks asks the whole class to cheer for themselves and for their classmates. The students realize that practicing these positive actions for the mind makes them feel good about themselves. They bring home a new Positive Behavior Checklist for the mind, so they can continue to track their progress on their intellectual health.

The whole design of the Positive Action program is dedicated to fostering the intellectual development of its students. In every lesson, the students are challenged to imagine, assess, and think about the concepts that they are learning. Meanwhile, the activities, materials, and interactions during the lesson are designed to reinforce these concepts. Overall, the program ensures to equip its students with advanced intellectual skills that are necessary for their growth and success in life.
